450 years Monteverdi. Sir John Eliot Gardiner conducts the three big operas by the Baroque genius: „L'Orfeo“, „Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria“ and „L'incoronazione di Poppea“.
In this interview the Brit Gardiner speaks about the whole project „monteverdi 450“ and gives a short introduction to the operas. Additionally he gives insights to the decision of doing a semi-staged version.
