From the Salzburg Festival: "Così fan tutte" (Thus Do They All) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, conducted by Manfred Honeck, directed by Ursel and Karl-Ernst Herrmann. With Ana María Martinez (Fiordiligi), Sophie Koch (Dorabella), Stéphane Degout (Guglielmo), Shawn Mathey (Ferrando), Thomas Allen (Don Alfonso), Helen Donath (Despina), the Chorus of the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The most spectacular homage to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on his 250th birthday in 2006 was incontestably the presentation of all of his operas and operatic fragments at the Salzburg Festival. The project "Mozart22" united the greatest Mozart singers, conductors, stage directors and ensembles of the day.
