After the successful restoration, the Beethoven piano was able to sound again in Baden for the first time on 24 November: The pianist Gottlieb Wallisch gave a piano concert in the Casino Baden. The fortepiano could be heard in its original sound solo and accompanied by a quintet of the Vienna Academy Orchestra with historical string instruments. In an interview Gottlieb Wallisch talks about his experiences during the restoration, Beethoven's inexhaustible source of energy and he shows the possibilities and timbres of this special fortepiano.
