On the occasion Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s 250th birthday in 2006, the Salzburg Festival played his complete operas. This documentary presents the Singspiel "Die Zauberflöte" (The Magic Flute). Conductor: Riccardo Muti - Stage director: Pierre Audi. With music excerpts and interviews with Riccardo Muti , Diana Damrau (Queen of the Night) , Christian Gerhaher (Papageno), René Pape (Sarastro), Paul Groves (Tamino), Irena Bespalovaite (Papagena) and others.
