"For many years “Christmas in Vienna” has been a fixed star in the round of Viennese Advent concerts, and 2012 again combines a balance of the well known and the less well known, classical and popular, expansive music with intimate settings, and religious and secular music. The program arrangement runs the gamut from “Festive Christmas” to “International Christmas” to “Popular Christmas”.
A dream team of classical vocal artistry – Sophie Koch and Piotr Beczala – cast their spell on us, together with the new international star from St. Petersburg, Julia Novikova, the Danish baritone and darling of the Viennese public, Bo Skovhus, and the 150-plus artists of the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra of Vienna, the Vienna Singakademie and the St. Florian Boys Choir under the direction of Sascha Goetzel."
Note: Due to licensing reasons this concert is unfortunately not available in Germany and Switzerland.
