In addition to Bruckner's "Romantic", this third edition of the new matinee format with Barbara Rett also features an Austrian premiere: the viola concerto "Emergences-Résurgences" by the Swiss composer Michael Jarrell. The soloist is Tabea Zimmermann – celebrated by the press as one of the most intelligent and talented musicians of our time – and one of the few instrumentalists to have achieved worldwide fame on the viola.
