For the first time in its over 50-year history, the Seefestspiele Möbisch present Franz Lehàr's operetta "Der Zarewitsch". The story of Zarewitsch and his unfit love captivates with a successful mixture of Russian local colour and Neapolitan joie de vivre. Musical catchy tunes such as the "Wolgalied" and Sonja's longing song "Einer wird kommen" make the hearts of every operetta fan beat faster. The Romanian tenor Tiberius Simu embodies the young Zarewitsch and Alexandra Reinprecht from the Wiener Staatsoper slips into the role of his lover Sonja. The artistic director, Harald Serafin, can be seen again on the lake stage in 2010 as the Russian Grand Duke.
