Rolando Villazón, artistic director of the Mozartwoche, opens this year's edition in person with a program full of Mozart: arias, movements of violin concertos and the "Haffner Symphony" are on the program. For the opening concert in the great hall of the Mozarteum Foundation, Maestro Ivor Bolton conducts the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg. Austrian baritone Rafael Fingerlos sings and Clarissa Bevilacqua, winner of the 2020 Salzburg International Mozart Competition, plays the violin.
