According to its motto “United in difference“, the Red Ribbon Celebration Concert in the Burgtheater Vienna assembles a unique line-up of artists: Anna Netrebko, Elisabeth Kulman, Erwin Schrott, Piotr Beczala, Ildebrando D’Arcangelo and René Pape: They all embrace the good cause for the benefit of people living with HIV or AIDS and present a gala concert inspired by “1001 Nights”. Accompanied by the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna conducted by Omer Meir Wellber, the concert is part of Vienna’s famous Life Ball, one of the world’s biggest charity events fighting the lethal disease.
