From Norway to Russia. Rudolf Buchbinder is not only the artistic director of the Grafenegg Festival, but can also be experienced every year as a pianist in Grafenegg. Now he appears for the first time with the young musicians of the European Union Youth Orchestra under the direction of Gianandrea Noseda, who invite you to a Late Night Session after the concert.

Grieg's piano concerto was inspired by Robert Schumann and was immediately celebrated by the audience. Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony was a different story - it is only today that it is regarded as one of the composer's most popular works.
