A total of nine of the country's most talented young musicians between the ages of ten and 16 were selected as finalists for the "Golden Note 2022" in an audition held at the beginning of April. On May 21, the young talents in the genres of keyboard, string and wind instruments will compete for the classical music promotion prize in a TV show hosted by Alfons Haider and Leona König. This prize was created by König, chairwoman of the International Music Association for the Promotion of Highly Gifted Children (IMF), in 2017 and has been awarded annually ever since. In advance, the last edition of the young talent series "Stars & Talents by Leona König" presents the semifinals for the "Golden Note" - a summary of the musical audition that took place in front of a top-class jury of experts.
